A great start to the day! The boy is back from Turkey Creek sporting a beard...noice!! They have been working and roughing it in a camp, needless to say, no need for a razor and it adds a b bit of protection from the sun. Fuzzy wuzzy bear!! I think this is the explanation for my grumpiness this week. I wasn't sleeping so great whilst he was away and the stress of work doesn't help things either.
So after our morning coffe at 4am this morning the boy was off to work again and I went for a jog and did a weights workout. Sounds like a crazy time to be up i know. But it's safe and cool enough to go for a walk at that time due to the fact that we have no daylight savings anymore. So the workout is done, I'm feed and I rekon ready for a little nap.
We don't ahve a lot planned for the weekend. THe nutta will need to rest after going hard with work. And it's too hot here to do anything!! you know how when it's cold you guys hiberate....well it works opposite here. In the summer we hiberate cause it's way too hot to move or breathe.
I have started Chrissie shopping online. the shops here are tragic and mostly expensive. I have bought some really cute PJ's from Peter Alexander for my step mum, brother and his girlfriend and a cute skirt for my little sister. It all arrived yesterday but I still have a bit more to buy. Is it too early to put up the Chrissie tree yet?
Does anyone else shop online? If so what are some good sites?
